- Excellent food, slightly slow service
This is another all-vegan lunchtime spot in Paris that gets busy quickly! We had a table booked for 12 as we were getting a train in the early afternoon, but the waitress was just setting up and it was 15 minutes before we were actually served. The menu was really tempting though. I had the cassoulet de la mer, which had lentils, hazelnuts and seaweed in, creating a really fresh, salty taste. I loved it! My partner had the aubergine surprise, which was aubergine rolls stuffed with pesto, sun-dried tomatoes and cheese. The best kind of surprise! While the mains were fresh and tasty, the desserts were even better. The tarte tatin was really sticky and tasty, and the creme brulee was huge, beautifully spiced with ginger and had the right texture. Lovely!
