- HALF A HEALTHFOOD STORE
Healthy Options WANTS to be a health food store - - but maybe I'm spoiled by the wonderful natural food stores I came to know in the States - Healthy Options just doesn't measure up. Yes - you CAN get a number of things there that you cannot find elsewhere - natural foods, some organic foods and soaps - and a LOT of pills. Nothing in bulk. THEY SELL LOTS OF MEAT. NO FRESH FOODS AT ALL. The atmosphere is not like a Co-op - it's more like a Doctor's office - it's a place for wealthy foreigners and Filipinos to reluctantly go to get things that they would RATHER buy somewhere else - - if only they could!
