- Superb!
On a recent visit to Madison, I ate at Ladonia five times in five days, sampling nearly everything on the menu, and I was always pleased. The food is fresh and tasty, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality. I particularly enjoyed the BLT, the quinoa salad, and the brownie. I brought several friends here and they enjoyed it as well. A fun anecdote: One day, as i was eating my Ladonia lunch in the Capitol lawn, there were three other people sitting on the bench next to me, also eating meals from Ladonia. One gentleman had almost finished his BLT before her realized it wasn't "real" bacon. His colleague had to point it out to him. He exclaimed, "You mean I just ate some kind of tofu?! Well, I have to admit it's really good." :-) Enjoy!
