- Oaxaca's best and most varied organic shop
This is a great place and I've been meaning to add it for a while. Keep in mind that the cafe and the grocery are in two separate buildings across the street from each other (both occupying one corner). I've enjoyed the tofu sandwich at the cafe, but the real gem here is the organic shop, stocking several imported veggie treats that you will find nowhere else in the city. They also carry a variety of organic specialties from nearby communities such as fantastic shiitakes, shallots, and arugula. Also worth visiting the beautiful historical neighborhood as well. Owner is very friendly and is usually playing Brazilian or African music in the shop. Get to know this place!
