While on a lunchtime walk yesterday, I popped into Mugshots Coffeehouse as it's been on my to-visit list for a while. It did not disappoint! The space is large but has pockets of coziness that make it ideal for reading a book, knitting, getting work done, etc. They also have board games, which makes it seem like it'd be a good place to visit with friends. I only wanted coffee to warm me up in the 33°F weather and was more than happy to wrap my hands around the mug. I inquired about vegan pastries and the barista happily pointed out my options to me. I chose the scone, which wasn't very scone-y but still tasty with hot coffee. I would definitely come back here, perhaps with my laptop in tow, and try more of their vegan options.
