• Great vegan stay outside of San Jose

We stayed at the Vista Del Valle for three days when we were in San Jose. We had a wonderful time -- the bungalo itself was very nice, the grounds very pretty (we hiked to their waterfall) and the food (we ate breakfast and dinner there) very good. We simply told them we were vegan, explained our needs, and they provided excellent meals! (The bunglao itself had shared kitchen facilities, but we did not use these.) They also arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport and drive us tot he Inn, and for a rental car to be arranged at the Inn the next day, which saved a lot of hassle when we arrived. Overall it was a wonderful stay. It is close enough to San Jose that it was convenient for me to drive in every day for meetings, but far enough away that it was like being in the country.
