• A place to try lots of veggie dishes

This place is in the mall food court right beside the station. it was busy (sunday evening) and we had a short wait. then we got a great seat at the window with a view over central Sapporo- worth the wait! its a buffet where you can eat as much as you like within 90mins. drinks are extra. they had a wide choice of vegetable based dishes. it lets you try a lot of different things and Hokkaido certainly has a lot of unique things to offer. there was also rice, noodles, pasta, pizza and desserts. they were replenishing the dishes constantly. i didnt bother asking what was vegetarian and what not - after 25 years i trust my judgement at picking something out a damn buffet- and didn't get any nasty surprises. it somehow reminded me of the breakfast buffet in our hotel, as it also seemed to feature a lot of hokkaido vegetable dishes- pumpkin, spicy potato, mountain yam. there were lots of families eating there. i wouldnt say it was the best food ever but if you're hungry or watching the yen or in a group with lots of different eaters, it would be a good place to go. central and convenient too.
