Wow. There are feasts to be had here. Green Point offers tasty and well-presented food, and the menu is diverse enough that there should be something to please (and fill) almost everyone. (Note: Portions are very generous, so you might think twice before ordering a three-course meal sight unseen.) Favorites: • Tacos: the menu lists "Tacos for Two," but they can also serve portions for one person at a 25% discount (not 50% discount as one might imagine). • Chaufa fried rice with momos • Extract 2 (carrot-orange juice with cinnamon) • Cheesecake (vegan, of course, and tasty) • Chocolate truffle Also recommendable: • Peruvian stir fry • Mushroom ceviche • Samosas • Dumplings (essentially momos/gyoza/pot stickers) Friendly service, good vibes, English spoken. Extra points for the fact that they are quite informed and deliberate about the health impacts of various ingredients (no MSG or other nasty stuff) and cooking methods (no microwaves or aluminum cookware). The only downside is that the place is so popular that there can be a long wait for a table during peak meal times. You might get to sit sooner if you're willing to share a table with others; just let the friendly servers know. (I did so twice and had interesting conversations with fellow travelers from around the world.) Another option: try their second location, the Green Patio (a.k.a. Green Point 2) at San Francisco Plaza, which has more tables and smaller crowds (at least as of Sep 2016), as well as a slightly different menu (which is nice for variety). An instant favorite. Highly recommended. Enjoy! Updated from previous review on 2016-09-13
