• Okay grub, poor service, but at least open on Christmas day

Self-service restaurant with pay what you eat gambit. Interior is hygienic, but since it's located in the touristy area of Prague you can sense that either the staff is fed up with the tourists or maybe just annoyed because they were working on Christmas day. When asked about the vegan options the mobile phone staring staff looked annoyed, but, to me bit amusingly, somewhat begrudgingly pointed at the vegan option they had. The only vegan warm option was some chickpea grub. The taste was okay. The salad table looked a bit stale around 16.30., but still edible. When querying further on the way the restaurant worked I could hear the frustration in her voice. Maybe it was the language barrier? Kind of awkwardly the rest of the interactions I had with the girl serving, she always did put on a smile. Funny! I felt for them though. Working on Christmas day isn't a treat... Still, it sucks to be the customer when people act grumpy. All and all it's better than not eating, but I wouldn't come here again if I didn't have to.
