- Great to have a vegan restaurant in Bournemouth.
Mad Cucumber is a light, airy restaurant with comfortable seats and sofas, serving fresh vegan food. From the limited main course menu I had a vegetable curry, which was to my taste but my companion felt lacked spice. The choice of desserts included an apple crumble and a variety of cakes, which were scrumptious. There is a great choice of imaginative smoothies. Price for the two course plus smoothie was just under £12 a head. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere makes for an enjoyable experience. Mad cucumber will be a must on my visits to Bournemouth.
