• Yuck...

I came here with my husband and friends a few months ago and asked whether anything was vegan friendly. I was told the mushroom burger patty was okay if I had it in a different bun (not brioche) and without cheese. Excellent... or so I thought. Firstly it arrived much later than my friends food and when it did arrive it had cheese on top! The waiter was very apologetic and sent it back to the kitchen. Then it came back out a couple of minutes later, which I thought was a bit odd seeing as they would have had to cook an entirely new one. Suspicious I opened the bun and turned the burger over and it had the remnants of the cheese slice melted onto it. 100% not okay. The waiter was mortified and sent it back once again asking for a fresh one to be cooked, by the time it arrived everyone at my table had finished their meals and the burger was pretty disgusting. It was cold inside and very rubbery and flavourless. The poor waiter told me I of course didn't have to pay, but this experience has put me off ever going back. The only good part of this trip was the waiter, I think the chefs may need retraining!
