H&B are the nationwide heavy weight of the UK heralth food shop business. I personally would prefer to support an independent organisation and that feeling is embellished by H&B not being 100% vego (they sell fish oils and whey protein). However in Whitley Bay at present it appears to be H&B or nothing. They are open on Sundays which can be useful. They are located on the main drag.
