I love this place. I've gone back many times. This is my third extended visit to Amsterdam in two years, and Bolhoed is a regular choice for me. The food is old school vegetarian/vegan, nothing super fancy, but tasty and substantial portions. Service is pleasant, but can seem somewhat curt if you go at a busy time. And, definitely don't go if you are in a hurry. Located in Jordaanplein, not far from the Anne Frank House.
