  • Pretty good food, nice company.

Sahlatin the host speaks several languages (Turkish, Arabic, English) with fluency, and can chat in others (Italian, Spanish). Ask him about the ingredients if you have concerns about them, he's very friendly. He usually has vegan dishes of beans, vegetable stews, potatoes, also offers vegetarian potato salad and some other dishes. Does serve meat, but understands what 'vegetarian' means. The house speciality is his felafel which I can say is probably the best in Turkey. Traditional Jordanian-style, with home made chili and tahini. Offered on a platter with bread, or in a durum (flatbread roll) with some vegetables, it was 5t to go and well worth it. The vegetarian options are sometimes good, sometimes average. It's not always fresh, and sometimes gets reheated. Otherwise, it's pretty good.
