  • An oasis in a vegetarian desert

This a bit difficult to find restaurant is a life saver when you stay in Lisbon (a carnivore's dream). The interior is very cosy, the staff friendly and helpful and the buffet that they have in the evenings is full of choice, salads, pasta, mock meat dishes, vegetables, some of them very original and hard to recognize. So, if you are vegan it's advised to ask the waiters if your dish is safe. It's not cheap but well worth the money. This was by far the best vegetarian offering in Lisbon not that that's difficult considering that you are hard pressed to find a restaurant that has a single meal without fish or meat or both of it.
