Approaching its 4th anniversary it's time for an updated review: Die Kichererbse is Stuttgart's first all-vegan little supermarket that despite ist size really caters for everything that you could want and need; all things sweet and hearty, cosmetics, raw and super foods, etc etc In addition, if you ever wanted to have something that is not in stock, the owners will go every extra mile to get it for you. Speaking of the owners: the two wonderful people running the store are simply amazing human beings with so much dedication and motivation. They really make you feel welcome and have turned this place from convenience store to living room atmosphere. They have a strong focus on fair and local products as they have a very cohesive approach to animal and human rights. They also run fundraising campaigns for various animal and human rights organizations all the time. This place is everything you want it to be and much more. I have been to many vegan stores around the world but Die Kichererbse is without any doubt THE vegan store. And finally: support your local vegan grocery store!
