• Good value and excellent food

Bella Vegan Cafe is a little gem of an eatery in the heart of Muizenberg Village. It's very well priced, has a decent choice of 100% Vegan food and is only a few minutes from the False Bay or Muizenberg train station. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is warm and and informal. The two couches make a comfortable spot to view all day documentaries on environmentalism,veganism, social issues...and other interesting topics. The Menu is "just a suggestion" and customers are encouraged to mix and match as they like. There are fresh juiced drinks, coffee/lattes, teas and real hot chocolate to wet your whistle. The Specials board changes daily. Bella Vegan is mostly a Lunchtime venue, although there is a small breakfast/brunch selection to choose from. The prices are very affordable with the most expensive item which is usually a full meal, at only R50. Their Cookies and Pies are almost legendary but you'll have to come early so as not to miss out. All in all a good experience.
