- Great location
This neighborhood only has a Safeway, which isn't the healthiest or happiest place to go. So, I am very glad there is a Yes! market here. Many people go, and just get some local bread or a few veggies, but some will fill up and get lots of groceries. Anything you're looking for to cook with that is healthy, local and fresh is here. I like the "big name" organic and natural brands, and the attention to local ones too. Right when you walk in, you see this plethora of all the fruits and vegetables, it's wonderful. I also particularly appreciate the broad variety of bulk foods for those who would rather choose package-minimized eating choices. The only problem is that the prices for healthy food can be high. It's hard to buy as much as you'd like, and I wonder if it is still just for the privileged to buy the healthiest foods when Safeway is so close. Still, support this venue, it's so inviting!
