There is a dearth of vegan choices in Taos, and not a single, vegan-only, restaurant. The owners of Yu Garden had a location in Angel Fire and relocated and opened up on Taos. The food is fresh, the portions healthy, and the owner is a sweetheart. She knows what "vegan" is and makes sure that when we come in, we get the vegan spring roll, the steamed rice, and leaves off the 'crab' ragoon in our combo plates. We feel like a valued patron. Try the shitake-based General Tso's 'chik'n' - wonderful!
