- Delicious fresh food to suit every taste
This has to be the best vegetarian restaurant in Europe. What variety! Hot and cold dishes, constantly being replaced or replenished by the staff. A real taste of Portugal, with vegetarian or vegan versions of the local dishes. If there was a code to distinguish the vegan dishes, I didn't spot it, but everyone in our group found plenty to eat. We made so many visits to the buffet table that we couldn't manage desserts, but they looked very good indeed. The place was very full by 8.30pm on a Sunday (when most restaurants are closed), and we were glad we had booked. We walked up (and I mean uphill and up long flights of steps) from the Avenida da Liberdade, and I recommend using the Gloria Elevador followed by a gentle uphill walk or a bus from the centre.
