• An all-vegetarian, vegan-friendly supermarket

An all-vegetarian, vegan-friendly supermarket a little bit outside of the city center, but can easily be reached by tram. Apart from mock meat in all variations (among which products from the famous "Vegetarian Butcher"), the shop offers fresh baras and samosas, veggie sandwiches, deep-freeze and canned veggies, ready-made meals, sauces, vegan fruit ice, cosmetics, sweets, quite a variety of vegan "cheese", egg replacements and vegan whipped cream and many, many other things. I found some interesting vegan products I did not see in any other shop in The Netherlands before, like vegan marshmallows and the famous Swiss "No Muh Chas" vegan cheese which is really very good (I love the one with walnuts inside). Some products, especially those imported from abroad in a small quantity, are a bit on the pricy side which I believe is quite natural. The staff is very friendly and helpful and open for suggestions. A great place and worth a detour!
