- the first vegetarian meal in Shanghai
Actually, I'm a Shanghainese. After living in Australia for a few years, I m vegetarian now (no dairy, but egg is ok). Today is my first day back in shanghai. And I feel it is really hard to keep my life style here, even if I do speak fluent Shanghainese and Mandarin. They don't know what vegan is what vegetarian is. I can't even fine a place where I can by soy milk or almond milk. But 豆苗工坊 saved me lol. Although the staff doesn't understand either, all the dishes are clearly labeled which is awesome. It will become my dining hall I guess..
