- Great Vegan Burritos
Not really much for vegans on this menu; this is a meat heavy, bacon crazy place. They close at 2:30, but really stop taking diners around 2:00ish. We arrived at 2:20 and were told the grill was already overwhelmed, no new seatings, no carry out. We asked about other vegan restaurants in Lansing and Vanessa asked other diners (this is a very small place). No one could think of anything reasonably close. We went out to the car and a moment later Vanessa came out and told us to come back in for a vegan burrito. So we did. The owner/chef prepared two vegan breakfast burritos that were truly gourmet with a side of home fries that were delectable. He went to extra effort to use a separate pan. Vanessa showered us with extra heirloom tomato salsa and Hawaiian black salt. This is a small, friendly, local, loud, crazy meat cooking place and I really enjoyed it. Would return again for that burrito anytime.
