The best word I can use to describe the Indian food is bland. Anyone that has had real Indian food would likely be disappointed by the hohum flavors at Basmati. The spicy foods lack any real spice. I was sorry to experience a deficit in the heat behind the food. If you're looking for delish Indian food, Curry Masala in the Annapolis Mall may be your best bet for Indian in the area.
