• Simply the Best Vegan or Vegetarian place to stay.

This place is something special, and good value too. We have stayed in other Vegetarian/Vegan places in France and this is the best we've found. The holiday food challenge stopped as soon as we arrived at Les Quatre Puits, where we relaxed into 5-course evening meals including wine, and cooked breakfasts too if we wanted them. All the food was freshly prepared, inventive and consistently very good. John and Keith are superb hosts and couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. It felt almost like visiting friends at a beautifully quaint country manor. The house is gorgeous with all sorts of antique furniture and some more playful touches. The Salt-water pool is lovely and the country walks are on your doorstep. There are games available and a good library - no need to leave at all!
