  • Loved it!

I got the vegan sea bass entree. It was on the expensive side, at around $16, but they do have less expensive items. They have vegan "sea bass", vegan "salmon", vegan "chicken", vegan "pork", and tofu. Any item on the menu can be made vegan, easily making Wen Hwa the most vegan-friendly restaurant that I know of in Winston-Salem. There are also two vegan dessert options, a mango coconut sticky rice that was not listed on the menu and the banana chocolate dessert rolls (which are vegan if you leave out the ice cream, or have it on the side if you are sharing the dish with a nonvegan). The atmosphere was great, a very chic Asian restaurant. I got the feeling that the food was a little on the spicy side. Definitely ask the staff about how spicy the food is if that is a problem for you. I would definitely recommend this place! Will definitely be returning here.
