- convenient in downtown LA
While looking for a place to go with co-workers, we stumbled upon Green Hut Cafe which has counter service and indoor seating. They serve a variety of sandwiches, salads, bowls and burritos as well as having a separate vegan choices section on the menu, so we decided everyone would have something to eat. I ordered the meatless meatball sub which was good. My co-workers all got non-vegan items, but they liked the place in any case. The other vegan items are chicken noodle soup, chicken sandwich, chicken green curry bowl and chicken burrito. There are also a couple of vegetarian salads that seem easily convertible to vegan. Overall, it's convenient to have a place to grab a vegan lunch in downtown LA.
