This place is my health food haven! There is such a wide variety of produce that ranges from conventional, organic, local, or a combination of one or the other. There are aisles of snacks, sauces, alternative milks, etc( usually they have great deals on tinned organic tomatoes, you better bulk up on that lycopene goodness!). The coop stocks many items that can be consumed by those with food allergies/intolerances.(They have this beautiful gluten-free lavash that I must confess my love and addiction to!) There is an aisle with some raw food products in it, health and beauty section, and many nice eco-friendly, organic versions of items found in regular markets. Unfortunately, their hot bar isn't always vegan D: ; I've never tried their sandwiches, but they do know how to make a rootin-tootin soup! The co-op has expanded and they moved their bulk section to a different area in the store, they are also moving their store to a different location in the near future! Great vegan options, but you must pass through the macabre layer of meat and flesh to get to the bulk section. It can be pricey, but if you're a member and volunteer for a certain amount of hours you will get 26% off.
