  • Not as good as it was, but getting better

This was once my favorite restaurant in town, and comparable to the great vegan restaurants of NY & CA. Unfortunately after closing due to hurricane damage they re-opened with a new chef and the food was smaller portions, higher priced and not nearly as good. I have been back since - about a year ago, hearing from friends that they are getting better, and indeed they are, but still pale in comparison to how they used to be. I will go back again, but it wouldn't be my first choice, hence why I haven't gone in over a year. I suggest making reservations as you can have a wait without one during peak hours. Would love it if they could do something about the smokers near the front door, that seemed to happen every time I went during the busy hours. It's a beautiful restaurant.
