- So close...
I want to love this place. I really, really do. I love that they serve funky and delicious "natural" sodas. I love that I can get vegan chow that I don't have to cook without fighting my way into Philadelphia. I love Fernando, the owner. ...I just don't love the food. Don't get me wrong: it's decent. Much of is as damn tasty (get the bean burrito! Or the bahn mi over rice!) but it's not GREAT. It's not delicious. "Hey, let's go to Vge," doesn't make me happy. That said, here are some must-eats: The kale chips. I mean, duh. The black bean soup. The reuben. The bahn mi rice bowl. The burrito. And, yeah, on a hot day-- the soft serve.
