  • Get the Banh Mi

This place is so highly rated on Happy Cow and Google so we just had to give it a go while in Hoi an. We ended up eating here pretty much every day for 3 days mostly because the vego options in this town are quite limited. The setting is good, the food is ok, but slightly dull, the service is quick and efficient and they sell fresh beer for 3,000 a glass. I liked the local specialities, we had the cau lau (spelling?) a few times and really enjoyed it. I also had the spicy bun soup which was really tasty but lacked veggies. The garlic rice was delicious and only 15,000, the tofu with fresh veg was a waste of time as it was very small and tasteless and the sweet and sour tofu was really tiny and lacked sauce. One thing I would recommend is the veggie banh mi. It's 20,000 and is probably the best thing I have eaten during my 3 weeks in Vietnam. It's full of veggies, tofu, a mushroom pate, salad, sauce and is truly amazing. Overall we enjoyed the food, but it definitely could be nicer and maybe bigger... Great beer though lol!
