  • Wonderful vegan-friendly Chinese restaurant!!!

One of the best Vegetarian restaurants I have visited in Kuala Lumpur (actually in Petaling Jaya) so far. When I say that it is vegan-friendly, the owner is very open and enthusiastic about veganism, and the staff know which of the dishes are vegan (most are, some mention cheese/cream/butter). They offer mainly Chinese dishes, some traditional vegetarian dishes, some mock meats/fishes, and also Thai / Indian and Western food (e.g. Pizza). I have been there a few times with Omnis, and so far, everybody was enthusiastic about the taste of the dishes (Omnis, vegans and vegetarians alike) I have no reservations whatsoever about giving 5 cows to them. They offer some healthy choices, not everything is deep-fried (but there are some options if that is what you like). The restaurant is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is very friendly. Outside seating on the veranda available overlooking a not-very-busy little street. Prices are medium for lunch hour and acceptable for dinner (about 15 RM for small dish, 25 RM for large dish) Important: CASH ONLY !!! Quite special for Malaysia, where yo can normally pay per credit card everywhere, so visit an ATM before going there. Updated from previous review on Wednesday December 04, 2013
