  • thai vegan galore

There are Thai vegan entree dishes sold at reasonable prices such as kaeng som, kaeng keelek, kaeng curry, fried vegetables, fried tofu, mushroom noodle soup (vegan meatball soup), yen tah foh soup, vegan duck noodle soap, hoh moek kai, khao mun kai, pak kana put (fried chinese kale), woonsen put pak (fried vegetables fried with glass noodles), put buong fai daeng (spicy fried morning glory), tod mun, put bai malah waern (fried goourd leaves), fried spicy bamboo shoots, and so forth. Mushroom noodle soup, tod mun (made from pumpkin instead of grounded shrimp), khao moek kai are absolutely delicious. Certain traditional Thai dishes are creatively recreated using Thai and chinese vegetables. No drinks and desserts. Once there were vegetarian burgers (burger was vegan but the bun was not). Owner is very nice and friendly. She can tell you what is in the dishes if asked. You can order in bulk and pick up. They also deliver if within the vicinity. Entrees rotate daily and fried or made fresh on the spot. Other Thai dishes can be requested and made if ingredients are on hand. The owner also has another branch located on the Chulalongkorn's campus in a new building which is always busy so you need to get there at 11:30 am. Both are the only vegan booths available at Chulalongkorn's campus. Staff do not speak English so you can just point to the dishes you want. You can select the dish with brown rice or not.
