I used go to hummus bars (it's a chain located in various parts of the city) a lot back when I lived in Budapest and the reason is the consequent high quality of the food. Their falafels are super crunchy and tasty, and the hummus is smooth and tasty - I can't say a bad word about it. The salad has a bit of a 'pickled' feeling, which might not fit everyone's taste, but I can only see as an advantage. Moreover, they serve free homemade lemonade during the summer and turkish tea during the winter, which is a very nice thing. Hummus bar in Oktober 6 street is the best of all the restaurants in the chain, and as far as I know the only one that bakes their own durum/pita (as of late 2015) - the only thing I would mark as an area for improvement in other restaurants of the chain. The home-baked goods are delicious and go perfect with what I would describe as one of the best falafels I've ever had. I absolutely recommend!!! EDIT I went there again after 1,5 years and I must say that the quality dropped what some friends living in Budapest have confirmed :-( The hummus was not the same!
