- Good all vegan brunch
I had done my research and decided to hit up this place for its all vegan Sunday brunch buffet during our weekend getaway to DC. I tried everything and it was all delicious, except for the baked sweets, which had dried out and became a bit tough to eat. I especially enjoyed the panzanella salad, the Asian-style green beans, the blueberry French toast with granola crust, and of course the tofu scramble made to order at the scramble station, which added a nice touch to the whole experience. The rest of the selection—melon gazpacho, arugula salad, roasted broccoli and carrots over quinoa—were pretty standard if not slightly pedestrian. I did wish there were more different options and that they were more exciting, but what they had was well-prepared. Service was also friendly and attentive. Even Todd Gray himself and his wife were present the whole time manning the scramble station and checking on every table. The price is high but not unreasonable, especially if you can load up your plate and do three to four rounds to get the most bang for your buck!
