- Unassumingly awesome.
With a vague notion that it was on McGill College near Ste-Catherine, I did unfortunately wander around looking for it for a few minutes before double checking their website. They are in the underground! So, inside, downstairs, through the doors, and around the corner and voila, I was there. Very friendly staff. Decor is functional and there is some sitting room, though not a ton. Ordered a Taco and some Key Lime Pie to go. Both came in biodegradable takeout containers, which is nice. Taco was really good and hit my craving for real flavourfull food in a way that other Montreal restaurants haven't been able to match yet. Served on the side was a mixed green salad that was unfortunately too small (as the greens were fresh and delicious) as well as a mango salsa and a non-dairy sour cream. Both excellent additions to help round out the flavour of the taco. The Key Lime Pie, which is mostly made of avocado, was excellent. Nice, creamy texture, no hint of avocado flavouring. A rich green colour and not overly sweet. The serving size was also quite generous. I definitely see myself going back. This restaurant has definitely deserved the 5 cow rating it has as of this review.
