Hands down, the best (gourmet) raw food restaurant I have been to -- in New York, London, Amsterdam, San Francisco (and other northern California), Los Angeles (and other southern California), Edinburgh, Chicago. Simply divine. (Of course, it's also very expensive -- but well worth the splurge to treat yourself or a loved one on a special occasion). Make sure to have the cheese platter and the ice cream sundae! Unfortunately, the owner -- who is also co-author of a fantastic "cook" book -- who is sometimes visible in the place, seems to be rather self-absorbed and has no sense about how to give the place a warm and inviting atmosphere.
