- Improving on the Vegan Front
Bernice's Bakery is improving in its vegan offerings since the past reviews were written. Every day they have a Vegan Oatmeal Fruit bar, made with different fruits as the seasons change. Additionally there is a vegan pumpkin muffin and a vegan chocolate cup cake. You can also order (with 48 hours notice) a vegan chocolate cake in any of their sizes ahead of time and buy the whole cake. (Think: Birthday party). Vegan lunch options include a changing salad variety, hummus with blue corn chips, and occasional vegan soup. The soup is vegan usually, but cream-based soups contain dairy. (Call / ask what is available on a given day). The owner is responsive to suggestions and is trying to reach out to Missoula's vegan community.
