- Small store, big selection
The store has roughly 5 sections -- fresh fruits and vegetables that are both organic and non-organic; staples and frozen foods; bulk goods; deli/bakery; and health and personal care products. If you're looking for low prices, the bulk goods are your friends. Their staples and frozen foods tend toward the higher end of the spectrum, which means they're the best source of hard-to-find items like vegan, gluten-free frozen pizzas or a wide variety of artisan vegan burgers. This makes sense, considering they're right next door to a Super Target, so customers shopping solely for price go there. Steer clear of the deli and prepared soups and sandwiches, however, since they have few if any vegetarian options, and no vegan options. You can also find a full selection of vegetarian and no-animal-testing vitamins, supplements, and personal care products. The staff I have spoken to have all been hugely helpful, describing the differences between similar items, informing me of the delivery schedule for specific fruits or vegetables, and even offering suggestions for where I could find specialty items they didn't carry.
