  • Expensive!

This summer you see a lot of signs sreaming "DISCOUNT!!" in Riga. Even at restaurants. This night there was a 30 percent discount at Kamala but still the food we ordered was very expensive. A plate with two big (very tasty) samosas for 7,5 EURO/6,5 USD is much to much even if you can add 30 percent discount to that. The menu was very ambitious, the restaurant interior was nice and warm but we were the only guests during our whole meal. Which consisted of tasty ravioli with mushrooms, very tasty "dumplings" with spinach and fresh cheese in a sauce of tomato/grated coconut/custard seeds (yummy!) and a poor plate with ordinary vegetables and some indian cheese (paneer).
