I have fallen head over heels in love with this cozy café! This place is icelandic coffee shop comfort at it's best! They serve an awesome vegan grilled sandwich with a cheese alternative and they know how to decently marinate tofu. Although Iceland is a nation of notorious coffee drinkers (C is for Cookie has a free coffee refill) they offer a good assortment of organic tea. If you go for coffee they have several plant milk options and the nice lady behind the counter was so kind and made me a hot chocolate out of dark chocolate shavings - because usually their regular hot chocolate is prepared with milk chocolate. Their vegan carrot cake is more of the chunky type, the spices are balanced nicely and the presentation is just cute. Personally I like chewy carrot cake more but the the taste is flawless in my opinion. The menu is written in Icelandic but the staff is English-speaking.
