- Alas, former glory shines no more
Sage was once one of the more reliable options in the LA area. Over the past few years, though, the quality has gradually declined along with the patronage, and now the owner has announced that they’ll start serving meat (with a pinch of non-science-based greenwashing to season the wound). With so many fantastic options for more compassionate 100% plant-based dining in LA now, there’s no longer any reason to come to Sage. If they return to all-vegan status in the future, we’ll be happy to give them a try again. Updated from previous review on 2014-01-21
