Let me begin this review by stating that I can only imagine for a lacto-vegetarian, this place must be amazing! My husband and I went in the late afternoon, an hour or so before the buffet ended, and it was still swarming with people! We had to wait for a table, and it wasn't even the height of the lunch hour! Not only that, but it is a very popular location with people from India, which speaks to the authenticity of the food. Having said that, it is not a very vegan friendly location. While I've read reviews below that say otherwise, when I called ahead to confirm there were items we could eat on the buffet, the individual didn't seem extremely pleased to accommodate. He said he "guessed" that there may be 2 or 3 things. When we arrived, as I typically do with a vegetarian buffet, I asked one of the servers to walk me through the vegan items on the buffet. He didn't seem sure of himself, so I asked another individual to walk me through. Again, he didn't seem sure of himself (and he also was not consistent with the last server). I asked to have a manager walk me through . . . AGAIN not the same set of vegan friendly items identified. Items that should have been vegan, we were told had just a "little bit of dairy." We were able to determine that all 3 individuals had pointed to one item in common, as well as the rice. We were extremely disappointed. Had we not been a rush to make it to an appointment, perhaps we would have sat down, and gone through the menu in detail. . . or gone elsewhere.
