  • A great find

This place used to be a bit of a buffet style diner experience but new management in 2012 have transformed the interior into a cosy restaurant setting. It's very informal and on the day of our visit the main courses were a tofu and cous cous salad or onion Bhajis served with a mixed bean risotto. Excellent value; soup and main course with a glass of cold house tea is only €5 per person. They also serve bottles of beer and desserts. On the day of our visit on 21.08.12 all food was vegan but it's always worth asking first. They said they are macrobiotic so this suggests no animal products are used. Fairly easy to find just north of the sun soaked main square in the town centre.
