- Mediocre food, terrible service
My fiancé and I went for Valentine's Day (a Saturday), and they only had 3 front-of-house staff working. The menu was confusing (marked non-vegan stuff with V even though more seemed non-vegan than vegan) and service was slow. After trying for 10-15 minutes to get someone's attention, we were finally able to ask for a bottle of ketchup and a glass of water. After another 5-10 minutes of waiting, my fiance finally got up and grabbed ketchup from a cleared table and went to the bar for my water. By that time, the food was cold. We even had to wait to be able to pay the check. When we complained about the service, the staff was dismissive. Had the service been better, we would've spent another £10+, but now we won't be going back at all.
