  • Fine Dining Menu with Barely a Diner Atmosphere

In 2010, I have this place 5-stars. Recently I returned to Salt Lake City for business and was very disappointed in the changes. First, Sage's has moved from its formerly charming location in an old house to what looks like a renovated Chinese restaurant. The booth in which I was seated had defunct springs and crevaces. The good news is that the lovely menu doesn't appear to have changed. The food was good, but not great. This is sad, because the food had once been top-notch. I also was not impressed with our waiter who seemed inexperienced and could not possibly have paid less attention to us. Plus, from our window booth, I saw him pass by twice walking with an older man and carrying something in a plastic grocery bag. Hmmm... Sage's was once a classy place, a restaurant for a Saturday night date. Not any more...
