- Great South Indian Brunch
This was the last day of our visit to Bangkok and my wife was unwell and we were looking for comforting home food. We found Saravana Bhavan on Happy cow and it turned out to be walking distance from our hostel. Locating the place was a fun experience and we walked through some traditional Chinese Indian areas of Bangkok. We were welcomed and seated at their nicest table and we ordered idlis, rava dosa and masala dosa. The service was lightening quick and the food took us back to our moms' kitchens.. The owner is a lady who is an experienced cook of South Indian food having worked in the kitchens of Komalas Bangkok before it shut down. Expect a laid back neighbourhood feel to the place and a humble owner who makes you feel at home.
