- Lovely little place - unique!
The mad waitress was very friendly, eager and welcoming, and we worked out she was english after a few minutes. Only about ten seats in the whole place so if you are keen to eat here a booking is advisable. The cafe has a quaint ambience quite unlike anywhere I've been before. It was warm, dim and welcoming. The place is so 'cosy' all the tourists chatted to one another. The waitress seems to do everything by herself, so service, while very personal, is a little slow. But we came here at 8.30pm before a show at 10pm and had plenty of time for two courses. The menu had three dishes on it, all very similar, but they turned out to be huge plates of a bit of everything. Very tasty and filling. The puddings were all homemade, very sweet and delicious. A place I highly recommend, as much for the experience as for the tasty food.
