- Not Veg At All, But a Good Resource
Although this store doesn't even attempt to target vegetarians (much less vegans) by any stretch of the imagination (a full butcher counter, all dairy products, eggs), they do happen to carry enough items that would make it a valuable resource to most veg people living on the area or visiting for any significant duration. The second floor features a walk-in refrigerator which contains many beautiful and delicious fruits and vegetables, hummus, and all of the dairy products, and also functions as a nice reprieve from the heat. ;) There are some typical "western" snacks, breakfast cereals, and comfort foods (like cake mix and pasta) that could be really nice for foreigners loving in HCM. For those vacationing, it's worth a look of you are in the area, but the items for sale are mostly intended to be prepared at home in your kitchen. Apart from the nuts (which are widely available elsewhere in Vietnam), the only real on-the-go snack foods are total junk and probably not worth the trip, unless you are really craving that sort of thing. Worth a look, but not veg by any standard, although could be a nice spot for long-term residents.
