  • NOT VEGETARIAN

Please be careful. Despite the huge sign on the door saying "vegetarians welcome" and a "vegetarian menu" inside, this place does NOT understand what vegetarian means and they will happily serve you fish-filled dishes without a second thought. Speaking Japanese helps. They have a "Tanmen" bowl that is fish-free, and tofu. DASHI is a fish stock used in a lot of Japanese foods. SAKANA means fish. TAMAGO is egg. Most of the dishes on the vegetarian menu contain DASHI and SAKANA, and one contains TAMAGO. Please be careful!
